I love a GREAT dark chocolate - and they make a wonderful dark chocolate almond bark! On August 28th of 2005, my family evacuated here from New Orleans due to Hurricane Katrina. We desperately sought normalcy and comfort. I became a frequent shopper at the Country Gourmet. The selection of fine chocolates, chocolate dipped strawberries, and gifts that surpass, by far, any store-bought quality treats! I recently bought individual packages of chocolates for my children’s teachers and office staff for end-of-the-year gifts. I can tell you that my children were a total hit that day!"

"What a pleasure it is for our family to shop at The Country Gourmet in Murfreesboro, TN. My husband is a native of Murfreesboro, and his nostalgic love for his hometown and the downtown square has permeated to me and our two children. We hold fond memories of our summer trips to Murfreesboro, and one of the highlights of our annual stroll around the square is a shopping visit to Chris and Karen Gerbman's Country Gourmet. We always find Chris and Karen to be most personable and helpful. We love the quaint gift items we found there, and alwys find ourselves leaving with a bag or two of delicious chocolates. We are very glad they offer a nice assortment of sugar-free chocolates to satisfy our cravings and help us "honor" various dietary restrictions. I always find unique gift items to take home for friends and family, and especially, for my parent aides at the school where I teach. Chris and Karen operate a fine gift shop with well-stocked gift items, both unique and practical, and they and their staff are most pleasant. We are looking forward to ordering our annual Christmas ornament that Chris designs and can rest assured it will be special and shipped to us most efficiently. We will cherish it as we place it amongst the previous year's collections. The Country Gourmet is a special little shop to our family, and we look forward to our next visit there!"

"The Country Gourmet is a unique store because it offers a variety of specialty items that you can't find anywhere else in Murfreesboro. It's a thrill to myself and other people to receive a gift from their store. They carry items for any age, which is extremely helpful when shopping for a gift or something for your family.
I also LOVE the smell of the store! It's probably because they have a huge selection of imported chocolates. They're all divine! They also have delicious chocolate covered strawberries, when strawberries are in season. I have never seen such huge strawberries! And, they are never hollow inside!
Of course, customer service is very important to me. And, they ALWAYS have
a smile on their face as soon as they greet you. Chris and Karen are very special
people! You definitely want to drop by to visit and shop!
